- ↑ “Okaa-san” is mom, “Genki desuka” is “are you doing well?”. For a voiced version of Chiaki yelling this, see Chiaki and Tetora’s group moment in the Fireworks Stream.
- ↑ It’s shown in Morning Practice that Chiaki decides to pick up Midori from home to make sure he joins practice, and it eventually became a habit.
- ↑ Referring to what mountain climbers usually yell to their teammates when they’ve split up on a mountain, to signal that they’re safe and doing okay.
- ↑ As a fun note, Buddy happens sometime after this story. In that story, Shinobu tries to build his muscles by helping Midori out.
- ↑ Here, Tetora says taiikukai-kei for “sports”. “Taiikukai-kei” is a word used to describe those who are part of a sports club. taiikukai-kei has a strict hierarchical system, and juniors are expected to take on errands for the team and their superiors.
- ↑ Known as suiton in Japanese, it’s one of the ninja arts of escape. In the case of the water-escape jutsu, the ninja dives into a body of water to infiltrate or hide, and then uses a bamboo as a snorkel. Shinobu has done this before in Air Ride; his CG showcases it!
